Brad asks, "How many points would be good?"

In this thread on the News post about userpics, bradfitz asks: We never meant for those to be restrictive. Just for anti-abuse. (we're always paranoid with new features)
The syn subsystem is pretty damn robust/fast now, though, so maybe we should up everything.
How many syn points you think would be good?
Just so y'know. I've given my 2c. :-)

For what it's worth, I think the incorporation of feeds into LJ was pure genius! It is one of the smartest, most inspired things LJ has ever done, honestly. Talk about a way to keep us on LiveJournal -- the feeds make this a virtual community like nothing I've ever seen before. It adds to the original interaction of LJ: "Oh, did you see the article on the such & such feed? Could you believe that?" Etc. It's just . . . too cool. I vote for lots. I'm like a kid with a new toy. I'm not going nuts . . . I've only filled in a few holes where I saw a true void, but it has added so much efficiency to my daily routine.

I am most grateful, most grateful of all, for being able to get feeds from my two best friends who moved away to DC and who are bloggers. Being able to keep up with them, to know when a new pic of one friend's child is posted and to watch him grow . . . it's a real gift. Thank you, LJ.
