Hello. Right now I've really had my fill of writing papers, so I thought I would digress and write a live journal entry. Woo hoo! Yesterday I went and saw the Detroit Symphony Orchestra perform. They were performing some songs composed by Nobuo Uematsu. I don't know if you're dorky enough to have heard of him, but it's possible. Anyway, what was really cool was that the Stoney Creek High School Chamber Choir performed a couple songs along with the DSO. I don't know why I'm telling you this, but I guess I just thought it was cool and it made me think of you. Hope you're having a great summer and you better come see the shows at Wayne next year. Even if I'm not in them... I'll probably be ushering or something. =P

But really -- we haven't forgotten at all.
Just an update about my summer: I'm in Stagecrafters adult theatre company's Music Man (as Zaneeta) with Liz (who's in the River City Teens). We go up the weekend after school starts (our tech week is the first week of school). We close the first weekend in October. I'm expecting you to be there at least once. :-) Also, I'm now studying with Dr. Mellow -- things are going very well (I'm already in the process of picking college audition music!) even though it's like starting at ground zero ( ... )
