My mom and I have decided that it's best that we dont have a visitation/funeral. He will be cremated tonight, as soon as our mother gets off the plane from europe and signs some papers.
I had the opportunity to see him, but chose to remember him as he lived instead. My last image of him will be of us drinking PBR together around the campfire in our backyard a few weeks ago, not of him in a casket.
We will be holding a memorial service at the first unitarian church downtown in the next day or two. I'll make sure to post the details.
thank you to everyone, i really appreciate all the kind words more than I can express right now.
