He was my first friend here. I...I'm not sure what to now. It feels so weird, to not have him here.

Well it looks like I won't be getting any scars on my hands, which is nice. But it looks like the food shortage is going to be a problem. For everyone who eats at the cafe, I won't be charging any more than usual, but if I say we're out of something, then we're out of it. I think I'll be working late tonight.

I keep dropping things and I'm having trouble reading the ledgers. I think my vision went fuzzy or something. Maybe my eyesight has gotten worse? Er, is there anyone who makes glasses in this city? I might need a new pair. But still, how can my eyesight change so much overnight?
