I own that movie on DVD and it is indeed badass. Guitar Wolf actually played near here recently and put on quite a show from what I hear. Definitely need to see them live.

Y'know, my cynical older self rarely leaves to go out anywhere, much less a rock show....but Guitar Wolf would get me out of the house...

Since you brought up Guitar Wold..the news seems that Hideaki Sekiguchi, a.k.a. Billy, a.k.a. Bass Wolf of Guitar Wolf has passed on of a heart attack. He died in Tokyo yesterday and was only 38.

Well, this has sure as hell been a sad day all around....

I tried to visit Guitar Wolf's website but it's server isn't responding, perhaps under the weight of Guitar Wolf's millions of loyal fans who truly love rock n' roll....

I am indeed struck ny this news, but will blast my GW albums extra loud on my way home from work tomorrow to honor a true warrior of the Jet Generation!
