What I like about your version of our characters is that it has a touch of "Watchmen"/"Dark Knight" to it in the aging super-hero motif, but maintains a tongue in cheek sense of humor. A very nice balance indeed.

I think it's really interesting how you brought the characters forward into the 'modern' era. It's not often we get to see the ways characters have to change in order to stay compelling to changing audiences. Not in short form, anyway.

The times they are a'changing. Modern era comics are so complicated compared to the others. You did a great job showcasing that, here. And also how easy it is to become obsolete with the changing times. Nice work!
