zach just called to tell me one of our kitties died today.  cause of death is unknown.  probably from being too cute.  ironically, i was just thinking the other day about how my cats never seem to die at home, they always kinda dissapear or end up getting hit by cars.  at least sadness confirms that i still have feelings left.   that sounded more

you make it sound like we were mean to her. to clarify for readers unfamiliar to these events:
The pill was to calm her down for transportation while moving. a move can be very stressfull for cats. mom has done this many times before with cats, and it's definitely safe. she was not halucinating--she was merely tripping out hardcore.
the whisker cutting incident was basic grooming. wait. no it wasn't. that one really was us just being cruel. my bad.
