*shivers* I genuinely shuddered inside as I read that line, you are so good at writing atmosphere. The way his covers are pooled around him, the way he is shivering. I can almost hear her screams in my head, and that is AMAZING.

'He is not going insane, he swears to himself, because what kind of Malfoy would he be then?'

This line captures all that I think Malfoy is, and I think it's really amazing that you did that. He's got a bit of insanity about him, what with the way he was raised and being ordered to kill at 16. But as a Malfoy he absolutely refuses to break, BECAUSE of his name he must deny all positive emotions like compassion and that is heartbreaking, I would think.

This was overall just really great, I love reading your stuff :D

And yes I totally agree about how Draco CANNOT break from what he has learned growing up, and if he did, then he wouldn't be a Malfoy.

Haha why yes it is!!! I'm in love with that song too!! I refuse to listen to the Kate bush (I think thats her name) version, because Placebo's version is too much epicness. :]

Yeah like, that's the whole thing about why I love the canon version of his character. I hate when people write him as... idk 'soft' maybe? I mean, I don't mind when he's being 'redeemed', but it's gotta be realistic. I think his father was just SUCH a strong influence on him that even if he fell for hermione, it would still be hard for him to give up his mudblood hating ways. You should read 'Water' by cupcaked I'm halfway through and it's seriously the best/most realistic Dramione fic I've ever read. It's not like 'oh look she grew boobs now i want to love her forever', it's him hating himself for even thinking of her as more than a mudblood. Idk I just love it so much right now I want everyone to read it! haha

I don't like the Kate Bush version either! Have you heard 'set the fire to the third bar' by snow patrol? That song and Running Up That Hill are alllwwayyss on repeat when I'm in a 'mood'. lol

i just read some of your stuff now and i think its really good :)
this story touched me in some sort of way and i just wanted to let you know .)
in my opinion draco malfoy is way more than what J.K. Rowling made of him :P
and your story shows what the horrible things he was forced to made of him..or rather what they possibly made of him 'cause we'll never know
