that is what i hate about both of those channels, is when you are lucky enough to see videos, it's candy shop by 50 cent or boulevard of broken dreams by green day, or that stupid one by that stupid ciara chick. wtf?
and mtv2 used to be all videos, until they started whoring it out to mtv shows that didn't do well, but still had an audience, i.e. wildboyz, etc.
i want my mtv (to not suck)!

Their idea of variety is horrible. I swear I am so tired of seeing the Alicia Keys videos. Its just so sad that the buffer music for their shows is so much better than the actual music that they promote with the videos.
at ucr they used to show college television network. they used to play a variety of videos with no shows. then they were bought by MTV and messed it all up.
but i guess mtv can never go back to music videos. if they did how would those people on real world /road rules make money.
