I've been more lurker, less poster since our internet was hooked up --- not to mention that I've been busy out of my mind with school, work, and the ponies.

Posting from campus. We still don't have internet but can occasionally get a crappy wireless connection from all the way over in the main office. Yesterday we brought over our last load and now my beautiful new place is full of ugly boxes. Moving and Visiting Grandma
I'm in the middle of packing. We took one load today and signed the paperwork and gave them their money. They're re-siding the building and the lady working with us assured us that renters moving in would be accomidated. There was a dude with a circular saw in the walkway who had to stop what he was doing every time he saw us and step aside. ( Read more... ) -
Trip to Seattle
I'm not scheduled to work tomorrow, and it's a relief. Between my Friday night closing shift and my Saturday opening shift I served $1,500 in food/drinks/etc. Now I'm exhausted.

On being sick, and a trip to see Darcy.
I've been sick over the past week. It was strange how it started --- a little sore throat after my first barn meeting after work on Sunday. By Monday morning I was a wreck. The car is back and running again. Too bad the mechanics took all our money and gave us a list of $1,600 worth of things they thought needed to be fixed. So basically we could've just called my car "totalled" when it was running a month ago before our first trip to the shop ( Read more... ) -

Tomorrow is the Microsoft Christmas party. It is easy to tell who the girlfriends are and who the wives are --- especially the really rich ones. I'll help you out. the seasons, a cat, and thanksgiving
The end of my second quarter at UW is drawing to a close and I don't feel any more optimistic about my school career as I did on the first day.... actually I probably feel quite less optimistic. Maybe it's the dreary weather and short days, perhaps the dead-end miserable job, maybe it's the finals.... but I've just been feeling down lately.
