As i sit writing this or rather getting ready to, I can't help but be a little reflective on my career such as it is in the O.T.O.. I had been an Associate member, when such existed, since 1996,when some members whom had just moved from NYC, and I where introduced to me by a mutual friend. We decided to form a group

Congrats on your upcoming initiations and the possibility of a charter!

If the person has "done thier time" for whatever offense, perhaps their application can be approved with a letter from the sponsors explaining their views on the matter?

Thank you for your kind thoughts and the helpful suggestion. I think one of our problems is that we have not had any 1st Degrees or higher as a part of the group for a while and thus we/I haven't been able sponsor anyone locally. Our sponsors have been roughly 250 miles away
and aren't that familiar or close to the the subject enough that it should be asked of them. I see this as a down the line when a they know him better or we get enough 1st degrees to do it ourselves and can speak from direct experience. Excellent idea though.
