For whatever inane reason, I was laying in bed this morning for an hour or so, not really asleep, but definitely not completely awake. I was just thinking about random things, such as the fact that it really annoys me when people are uncomfortable and don't say anything. I mean, I just really want everyone around me to be perfectly comfortable ( Read more... )

I think we all hide our uncomfortable feelings. It seems that there is rarely a time that I'm completely comfortable -- sometimes it's slight, sometimes greater. (If it's not one thing, it's another, etc.) Perhaps it's just me, though.

But then again, how often do you meet someone who's always completely open for opposing, or slightly different at best, viewpoints? Even I get very a little annoyed when the viewpoint is really uneducated (ZOMGGG GHEY PPLZ CH00ZE 2 B GAY!!!!11, etc.), and I consider myself to be very open minded.

Yes, but when other people are just so "UGH GET ME OUT OF HERE", it really makes me feel like a heel.

Interesting you bring that topic up. I was just talking to insipidnight about how I'd never heard a coherent argument against gay marriage. People are just so overwhelmingly ignorant, they believe that "Uh, gay people go to hell!" is a decent defense.

Oh, and *huggles wildly*
Just when I thought the world was going to hell, you come back and make me realise what it's all about. xD
