sideshow ultimate is going to nationals. both the guys AND the girls.

this is going to be an insane month.

..and the track teams just came in 2nd to last at the conference meet. go figure.

so i made the ultimate "roster" that will be playing at sectionals, regionals, and potentially nationals (if we make it). there are about 12-13 out of the 30 girls on the team who will be playing. granted that's half the team, but i really didn't think i would be here when i wrote my last entry ( Read more... )

mile and a half warmup, 5x200 at 37-38, but i felt like shit. did 2 or 3 50s and then a lot of hurdle drills for my hips.

later on i ran like 3 miles with monsters, puts me at about 6 for the day.

ran turkey trot by myself, about 6.5-7 miles i think? i should really measure that out with my car.

so i didn't run thursday either.

friday i did turkey trot with stef (about 7 miles) and saturday i swam/aqua jogged because my right leg hurt too much from falling 234327493 times the night before.

running will be put on hold for today (tuesday) and tomorrow (wednesday) as i have 3 tests and 21 pages of essays due tomorrow.

i'm slowly but surely increasing the mileage so today i did a 2 mile warmup instead of 1. the XC girls had their team picture so the others had to wait forever. we did some drills and that kind of tired us out because we haven't done them in so long. hopefully over winter session i'll get down to the track earlier to do them more often ( Read more... )
