For me, and probably a number of other readers, the fascination is in the arc of your story; the cycle of amazing new chapter-->great challenge-->end-of-term near disaster-->triumph-->amazing new chapter, and the whole human development through boyfriends, leadership, and layer upon layer of coming out. When you read these journals, years from now, I suspect you'll see how amazing they are. Right now, they may be a little too much like water to a fish or air to a bird to seem that worthwhile, especially when nobody comments.
Your close community may or may not still vibrate on LJ, but I suspect I'm not the only avid reader who doesn't comment much because of the many distances between us. Thanks for continuing to write.
