Despite your claim that your dinner mates were "older and wiser", I would be so bold as to suggest, having met none of the dinner guests, that that all may have been older that you, but none wiser.

i think i feel the same way.

but no, having met all the dinner guests, i can definitely say that their wisdom goes far beyond my own. it's okay. i have another forty years to learn. :)
