Drew picked me up from the Kalamazoo airport on a whim and drove me out to Lansing for a Christmas party with his co-workers. We ate and drank for free, and the other party-goers were a good bunch, so I was pretty glad not to be stuck at home, alone. really? i've been kind of... melancholy isn't the right word, but caught somewhere between happy and sad. i don't know. i think it's just the season for this feeling.
