My friend Joanne, a transgender activist from Boston, came to Kzoo to give her "Transgender 101" presentation, and to my great surprise, the event was a huge success. Burton, of course you'll be accepted SOMEWHERE. You are far to intelligent and dedicated to your future not be be. And you surely know that so often what appears to be a second choice turns out to be such a great choice, after all. Good luck.

A 4.0? Are you serious? HOW? I didn't even know it was humanly possible. Sheesh. Goes to prove even further that you are not of this planet! And I second the above - you will get into somewhere aMAZing.

Joanne was awesome - I thoroughly enjoyed her speech and her humor. I am so happy for her but having to go fifty years before becoming who you are - it should not be that way at all. Do you know where a copy of that miniseries might be? I can't remember the name of it - it was about the college students. I was excited to see that one girl was hearing impaired and was really interested in learning more about her.

I heart Rufus. I know someone who saw him in a small French cafe where he tried to speak French but kept messing up and cracking jokes in English.

i'm glad you enjoyed joanne's presentation! everybody seems to have learned a lot. as for the miniseries... not a clue. google it.
