I keep meaning to write an actual entry about what has happened so far this year, but so much has happened that I just can't bring myself to start writing and reflecting on it. I have realized my great frustration with LJ, and the whole Internet-based world of communication and community, thru your posts or, more to the point, lack thereof.

Those who know you in real time, rather than just vicariously thru the 'net, are always up-to-date of the interesting life of Burton. For the rest of us, well, just left to wonder.

One day, I suspect with little or no notice, you will simply vanish from this online chatter, leaving so many to just wonder.
