Well, this has been a bizarre day. I spent the majority of it inside the apartment, since it was probably for the best. Monsters aren't exactly my forte, after all. Not if they're not around seven years old with runny noses and poorly aimed shuriken.

It's not that I don't trust Kakashi - he's 26 years old, and Obito is still a child - but I know how much his death still affects Kakashi to this day. He needs time to process that, time for the both of them to reacquaint themselves with one another.
So I think it's best if I make myself scarce for the time being. I don't want to get in the way. I wonder if I'll even be missed.
Genma, do you...do you think it'd be okay if I stayed with you and Hayate for a couple of days? I wouldn't normally ask that of you two, but...this is rather special circumstances. If not, that's perfectly okay, really! I wouldn't want you to feel at all obligated.
