Yuusou was leading the end of the pack and was becoming more aggitated by the slow pace.

School slippers pounded on the floor, causing a soft padded thump. Miki dodged the heavily congested crowds in the hallway as he rushed across the school. Every time without fail, he had an ominous feeling that he was late or going to be late. The feeling only worsened when he had to take extra stops in between class periods. It couldn’t be avoided, when Toriyama requested a specific document at a specific time, he meant that he wanted that paper at that time. There was even once in time where Toriyama tortured Miki by giving deadlines during class periods so that Miki would rack his brain trying to come up with a convincing excuse for the teacher to let him out of class for a little bit.

The door came into view, and Miki sighed a sigh of relieve. He wasn’t late, as he had thought for there was still a couple of minutes before class began. He slowed his pace in order to catch his breath as came up behind Yuusou.

Ritsuko sat on the top of one of the desks talking with two other girls. She had been spending more time with these two girls lately, mostly because they were friends with a lot of cute upperclassmen boys. As the weeks piled up, Ritsuko felt that she needed someone to take her mind off of her recent breakup. Laughing in response to what her friend had said, Ritsuko spotted a few students entering the classroom, and she turned her head to see who they were. She watched Mattie enter the classroom, before blinking quickly and turning away. Her cheeks burned pink as she tried to push back any gloomy feelings that were building up in the pit of her stomach. The two girls burst into laughter again, and Ritsuko joined them, though she had missed what had been said. She’d rather fake being happy than cry over the past.

Kira was already in the room but watched the slow movement at the door.
