I'm inspired to get through this week on a positive beat. It wouldn't
be prudent to say I had a real miserable week two weeks ago. I wouldn't
get out of bed to go to class because I just wanted to sleep. I
procrastinated on my work. Then that weekend I went to DC, where I had
an experience no like other. It's impossible to narrow down the
thoughts in my head into one single train of thought on this
enlightment. After that, I was preoccupied with trying to get through
chemistry webassign. Well I failed to achieve a 100 on every one but I
hope this exam will make up for that and keep me in the B range. It's
not as easy when you're hindered by the result of the system's attempt
to provide the resources for you to learn and achieve. This week will
be slack since every class I have is just coming off a test. What can I
do in that time that I don't have to worry about webassign or anything
else?
I enjoyed this weekend even though we lost the miami-state game. After stopping by Allison's blow out party on chamberlain and failing in my mission to provide Kelley and Jess with means of intoxication, Sleepless in Seattle was a nice way to end friday night. Going with Kelley to the Crabtree mall was a nice change of scene. I wish I could say I was able to blow a week's salary in one day. Well, it was gameday and I took james over to Lake Park where the pregame went down and we went to cook out beforehand to get some grub. After parking the truck at K-mart, we proceeded to trek all the way up blue ridge to the stadium. What a fuckin walk, and we had a whole game to stand up for too. FUCK ME, miami converted the first kick off into a touchdown. That tells me we're destined to lose. My apathy for sports shined during the game. I hated standing up for 3 quarters and trying to holler when it hurt my throat. I stuck to throwing the wolfpack sign out there. Finally jeff and i bailed out and headed to gate 1 at the fair to take the bus back to campus, where we walked back to kilgore after a detour at my dorm. Imagine, Killians Keg at Kilgore. Party was so-so. I bailed out to pick up a very drunk girl and feed her some pizza. Woke up around noon and showered... the hottest shower ever this semester... Im just tempted to take another one right now to see if it still exists, the extreme hot shower. Now, I did get so much work done tonite that I am set for the rest of the week with the exception of two exams.
