haha the funny thing is... vance in one street south of me. haha. yeah. not north memphis. i love you vz!!
and if u do right a letter to craig brewer dude... do mention that the movie was very well done (except for the accents). moving from Poor and Hungry to this was a big achievement, and much props to that. and yes it did make memphis look bad, but that is what the movie plot was. was the ghetto. every city has a ghetto, and i personally think that memphis was the perfect place for this movie to be filmed. it brings out once again our music history in memphis. and how its not that we "were" the blues city.. but how we still "are" the blues city.
hehe sry. its pretty obvious that i work at a movie theatre.
wow herron u got all deep and stuff... ya i can def. tell u work at the movies.. every place does have a ghetto but we r already known for being kinda dirty ghetto cause thats all they every show when they talk about memphis! ppl are going to be scared to come here now and there is so much more to memphis then the ghetto... midtown is beauitful and the old huge houses down there and the parks it would have been nicer if they had atleast showed alil of that ..and now u can see i clearly dont know anything but east memphis and germantown cause i thought it was all in north memphis! oops. but all in all it was a good story..
