Layout help

Okay, so I need a little bit of help. Well maybe a lot of help I don't really know. I want to customize my layout. I have the colors and images and everything but I want to customize it and I have no idea how to. Nor do I have the time to figure out css (html is my friend) and the whole S2 layers are just to much for my pea sized receptacle

I want the colors set up like this and I want to be able to change out my banner to one that I've created. The style of my layout now is just fine I just want to make a banner and place them in periodicly.

But I have no idea how to change the background in CSS. The text and things I shouldn't have a problem with though. Well though I would like the outline on the coment box to be white. let me know what you can do :D (is so excited!)

Email me so i can email you the banner tomorrow. Colors are more background dark-grey, the entries+sidebar blue-grey with white text and I like the greenish color of links that I have now. :D
