know what i think is gay? when people take offense to saying something is "retarded" or saying "yeah thats pretty gay". oh since i used the word retarded, that must mean that i throw handicapped people in traffic, or if i say "thats gay" im burning rainbow flags in san fransisco ( Read more... )

I always consider "that's gay" to refer to a crazy/happy thing...yah know like the word "gay" is supposed to mean!

Heck I would like to be happy & gay occasionaly.

Let's "take back" the word GAY.

some people just love to make arguments out of nothing. lose people are considered "people with no lives"....don't take it to heart.

Gahhhh. I totally agree. It's so irritating how "politically correct" we are expected to be all the time. People do need to get over it. Like it's REALLY that big of a deal.

I have several gay friends who say things are gay.

I also have a cousin who isn't retarded per se, but he has this syndrome called William's Syndrome and so he's not quite normal, and was in Special Ed and stuff. He says "That's retarded!" all the time so I do it around him, and he doesn't even bat an eyelash.

I don't, however, say it around his mom, but that's just a given. Moms aren't expected to be with it.
