I used to do the whole watch-back if somebody watched me, but that got really crazy. Like REALLY. And I've cleaned out my watch list a few times now. A lot of times I had watched people based on one drawing and then they don't ever submit anything like it again. So I think I've been a lot more selective lately.
Definitely can't blame you there. I had some people watched who never even submitted anything (or wrote any journal entries...or did anything except favorite stuff) and just used DA to collect art they liked. It does get insanely crazy, and I just didn't feel like there was any point to having so many people on my watch list if I wasn't going to be communicating with them in any way.
That's an excellent idea; I may well follow your example. I used to watch people back out of courtesy, but since 75% of my watchers never comment or favourite my art anyway, I shouldn't feel too bad about de-watching a few of them...
Hehe, thanks. Yeah, that's what I figured too. Also, a lot of people whom I watched-back tended to use their galleries to upload MySpace-esque photos or MS Paint scribbles, and flooded their journals with the minutest details about their angsty teenage lives.

Yes, it was Blockblister from The Amanda Show.
