So Christmas came and went. It sorta made me sad because I know that in a few short years I will prolly no longer spend that time decorating, celebrating, and being together with my family. Sheesh. Sometimes I find myself being WAY too sentimental

Glad to hear you had a good Christmas this year, Katie. And yes, I think quite a few of us are starting to realize how quickly the time is going by of our "childhood" habbits, such as Christmas... For many, in a few years, Christmas just may be a time to get to come home and just see our family... All I can say is just make the most of things like this now. :)

And I completely agree with you about the cliques and all... Heh, this year I do believe a lot of us are getting left behind. No worries though Katie, you are an awesome person and soon all of your friends and probably some great guy as well, will realize what they're missing out on.... And I know that you and I never really have been close or anything but hey, maybe this term we can get some classes together or maybe we could start hanging out sometime. Heh, if you ever want to, my cell is 591-4575 and in 2 months I'll have my license as well.

well now, its 10:02 pm and i have nothing better to do than read your live journal and leave you with bits of optimism so here goes:
life sucks. people suck. it doesnt matter where you are. i have removed myself from the drama and "cliques" of high school and have found that life is much easier. yea, its hard going out on your own, but its WAY worth it.
here i am 1200 miles away from you and going through the same "no one calls" thing, but im over it. you will get over it. stop freakin trying to fit in so much. it drives me NUTS!!! theres more to you than hairspray and nailpolish. im your best friend, i know that. fuck what other people have to say. they have nothing better to do with their lives than make other people miserable. do you really want to be friends with them anyway? i hope not.

you know me better than anyone else. I miss you, and ever since you left and our group sorta broke up it has been real hard to find a place again.
I know that you have it a million times worse in VA, but in a way we are both in the same kinda transition. Why did this have to happen in high school?
