PET = Positron Emission Tomography.

A fancy nuclear medicine scan availible in the Blackrock clinic.

On second thoughts however I think we will just whack this guy up on morphine and wait for the big tissue diagnosis from the morgue.

one hopes you have a disclaimer somewhere on your blog lest you get in trouble for gross breach of patient/doctor confidentiality or somesuch?

my diagnosis would be:
ingrown toenail.

remember to cut your nails straight across, not on some sorta wacko curve, you crazy kids!

As I have not mentioned the name or loaction of the institution in which I toil, nor the names of any patients, then there is no breach of confidentiality issue.
