While I wouldn't want a swig off a bottle of jellied aloe, well done on getting to WD-50. It is next door to 1492, a new Spanish tapas restaurant with a supposedly great inexpensive menu and outdoor terrace. 1492 took ages to find for some reason and by then I didn't have anymore dinners free before leaving.

There is japanese tapas (izakaya) restaurant in the East Village called Kenka. It's large, punky and packed, and CHEAP (like $6 a dish). On the north side of St. Marks between 2nd and 3rd Ave. at basement level. Great cold sake too.

O didn't think much of the Puma store. The Adidas store had much on view. Now, get thee to some free gallery opening on 26th St. in Chelsea and report back on the pretensions! And don't forget Barney's Co-op.
