I just finished reading chapter 8 and 9 and seriously I can't think of a better way to wake up and start the day.
Carlisle is so gentle and understanding. The man sounds like a "damned saint". Allow me to point out that Edward is acting a bit jealous (or maybe i'm just imagining it, I've been known to do that once in a while).
I like the slow progression of things between them and the anticipation makes things even more interesting.
Also, you're doing a good job at keeping us guessing when it comes to Carlisle's reaction towards Jasper.I mean you've established that he know how Jasper feels towards him. But what is Carlisle going to do about it?
All in all good job!

I just had a crazy wild day for writing yesterday. I got three chapters out. I had a day off work, so I made the most of it.

Yes, Edward is overreacting a bit isn't he? Who knows why that could be?

Yes, I hate stories that rush the characters into relationships. So I am trying to ensure that things progress at a more natural, sensible rate.

So he knows. Now, I wonder, does he feel the same way? I've told you loads of times, but this is just so fascinating to me. It's honestly one of the most intriguing stories I've ever read. And the thing with Edward, is it jealousy because Edward wants Carlisle for himself, or simply because he feels like he isn't being given enough in comparison to Jasper? Or isn't it jealousy at all, but simply looking out for his father? I wanna know! Can't wait for you next update.:)

Wow, I logged on today and my LJ inbox was full of comments. Thank you so very much. I appreciate your honesty about the things that you don't understand and I am so pleased to hear you are intrigued. I wish I could tell you all the answers to why Edward is upset and why the blood in Carlisle's system helps Jasper - but that would ruin the rest of the story.
