Oh, haha, well, so much for accepting.;) Really great chapter, though it doesn't bode well for Carlisle that Jasper had to feel again, already. But I just don't understand that, if it's animal blood (recycled and cold, at that) that it will only work if he drinks from Carlisle. Is it because he wants Carlisle in other ways as well, that it somehow hightens the pleasure? I can't wait to find out.:)

No, Edward is still unable to accept Jasper's need for Carlisle. The things he said in the previous chapter were voiced in desperation, he needed Jasper's attention, needed to talk about something he could focus on, something he could care about enough to listen.

You may be onto something with your theory on why the blood inside Carlisle satisfies him so greatly. But I won't say anymore on that. Because my story needs its secrets and suprises.

Now everyone knows that Jasper feeds from Carlisle. One thing puzzles me. Is Carlisle Jasper's sire. If so, why does Edward feel so indignant that Jasper feeds from him. And if not, then who is. Jasper shows he is lusting after Carlisle, this will wreak havoc on the Family. So many facets to this story.
