Doctor's Visit and Decisions to Make

My visit to the doctor yesterday rubbed me the wrong way. I specifically chose OSU Integrative Medicine because they supposedly combine Western and "alternative" medicine and I thought this would provide me the best chance to find a decent doctor. The doctor I wanted, who is female and specializes in nutrition, was not available until late March so

That is what I am thinking, but my mother told me I should go. The doctor said that this is what he would tell his sister and I thought, "Well I don't have a doctor in the family, endless money, and a blind faith in the medical industrial complex."

They are supposed to call me to schedule an appointment with the cardio guy so I am going to ask some questions then which will hopefully help me decide. They are trying to coerce me to go, though, because they refused to schedule a follow up for the blood work at this time. That alone makes me want to defy the order.

I can sometimes concentrate enough to read, but have not been able to get through the 2 books i am currently working on because it is rare that I am both awake enough and capable of reading at the same time. I am just too tired...

Why, do you have a suggestion?
