N woke up to a strange sound coming from just outside of his dorm room. He wasn't sure just what it sounded like- some sort of peeping, maybe?- but it piqued his curiosity. He rose and, still in little Cottonee-print pajamas, opened the door.
It was a chick. A cute little baby chick. It was faced away from the door, but N could still tell what it was. It looked so cute!
"Hello there, little chick," he spoke softly, kneeling down to get a good look at it. The chick then turned around and showed that it... wasn't quite the normal chick.
It lunged for his hair and latched on. With a yelp, he flew back and took the chick in his hand, yanking it from his head.
It didn't look very... typical, and it was hellbent on scratching up his hands with its talons. Thankfully, he was used to getting some battle scars from Zoroark, as its claws could do harm even when it wanted to give a little hug.
This was a predicament. Maybe the people on the journal network knew what this was?

[N flicks the video on and gives the camera a brief once-over before speaking.]
Has... anyone lost their pet? I suspect that it's some sort of baby chicken, but it seems to be a little different. It's- ack! [The chick in question squirms in his hands, now in view. It scratches at his palms with its talons, and in response, N winds up dropping it.]
Please don't do that!
[As the chick runs off under the bed, N lets out a relieved sigh and regains his composure.] It... is a rambunctious little one, I will admit. Does anyone know what it is? Who it belongs to? I only discovered it outside of my room.
