I have been wanting to post something for a long time, but since I have either too many ideas running through my head, or none at all, thought I'd be lame and do this meme (q & a thingy--the more technical term):
1. When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought?
"Wow, look at that bed head"
2. How much cash do you have on you?
Sometimes as much as $20. I like to have cash, but I leave most of it at home so I don't spend it.
3. What’s a word that rhymes with DOOR?
Spoor. Or bore...
4. Favorite planet?
Earth, because I live there.
5. Who is the 4th person on your missed call list on your cell phone?
Amy Hayes
6. What is your favorite ring tone on your phone?
Don't know what it is called, but it's the only one that came w/ the phone that I can stand. My phone is so old, I probably can't even download one if I wanted to (which I don't)
7. What shirt are you wearing?
A green shaklee shirt
8. Do you label yourself?
Sure... something expensive I hope. ;-)
9. Name the brand of the shoes you’re currently wearing?
no shoes right now, just socks
10. Bright or Dark Room?
Natural lighting mostly unless I'm trying to sleep.
11. Have you met any of your LJ friends in real life?
I've met nearly all of them (not that I have that many...)
12. What does your watch look like?
Black cheap sports watch complete w/ black duct tape to keep the watch band on.
13. What were you doing at midnight last night?
Sleeping.
14. What did your last text message you received on your cell say?
Toasted? (friend was picking up Subway for me!)
15. Where is your nearest 7-11?
I have NO idea... in Fort Collins somewhere
16. What's a word that you say a lot?
horse. :-)
17. Who told you he/she loved you last?
My hubby. My horses say it too, just in a different language.
18. Last furry thing you touched?
Elway.
19. How many drugs have you done in the last three days?
None, except my Shaklee Vitamins

Film? What's that?
21. Favorite age you have been so far?
When I turned 40.... that was my super woman year. I came off two horses (well, one fell w/ me) and I did not get seriously hurt either time!

Satan.
23. What is your current desktop picture?
Just this pic w/ stars on it. Kind of cool.
24. What was the last thing you said to someone?
My hubby, showing him on youtube and explaining who Jack Kerouac was.
25. If you had to choose between a million bucks or to be able to fly what would it be?
A million bucks. Kind of afraid of heights.
26. Do you like someone?
Um, all my friends.... I tend to like most people.

I've had Praise you in the Storm by Casting Crowns going thru my head ALL day.

Graduating from high school in the spring and starting college in the fall.

I was getting ready for work when my dad knocked on the door to tell us that a plane had flown into the World Trade Center
34. What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
I don't recall this ever happening to me, but I don't use vending machines that often.
35. Do you consider yourself kind?
I try, but I do fail.
36. If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be?
Don't want one.
37. If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be?
Realistically: French (since I took it for 5 years, this would be easiest). Practically: Spanish (would be handy to be able to speak it) Dreamily: Russian (took a 10-week course and loved it, tho it was REALLY hard to learn)

Yes, and I have.
39. Are you touchy feely?
Um, I am a bit of a hugger... didn't used to be until I had a friend who was, go figure.

To live is Christ and to die is gain.

Clothes, hair tie, sunglasses

Hm.... I do like FC, but smaller towns are better. If Wellington had a book store and an artsy movie house, I'd be all set!

I think when I went to the yard sale.
44. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper and mailed it?
I did Christmas cards (tho not until Jan).
45. Can you change the oil on a car?
No, never have taken the time to learn.
46. Your first love: what is the last thing you heard about him/her?
First love: married to him. First crush? Hear he's living in CA and has a good job working for a university.
47. How far back do you know about your ancestry?
Dutch royalty back to the 1300s on my mom's side. I'm also a descendant of the last person hanged in the Salem Witch Trials. :-)
48. The last time you dressed fancy, what did you wear and why did you dress fancy?

My jaw
50. Have you been burned by love?
I don't think it's love that burns, but rather fallible humans that do the burning.
