FYI, by default I opt in to everyone's opt-in filters. This is true whether or not I remembered to comment to say so. If a filter is ever problematic enough to me, I'm okay with asking to be removed, but since that is vanishing rare, it's much easier to default that way than to have to explicitly opt in to everything.
