Selling things.

So, I'm going to try and lighten my life a little bit, by getting rid of a lot of stuff I've accumulated over the past decade. And I started selling on Ebay, but realized I haven't really done the Ebay thing for a long time. Is it still the place to sell things? Or has something else taken its place? I seem to have better luck on half.com for books and dvds than ebay itself.

I did sell my old aquarium on CL and it worked out well. I think it works really well for bigger stuff especially because then there's no shipping charges for anyone. I'm hoping the comics will do better on Ebay where there will be a bigger market. But we'll see. Sigh.

I've never sold anything on ebay, but still go there to buy items, everything from books/DVDs to discontinued models of running shoes that I can't find in stores anymore.

Oh, well that's reassuring! I actually have a few things I'd like to get, so I'm hoping I'll make enough to buy a few things back and then some. WE SHALL SEE!

I've started using Craigslist for most stuff and go to Half Price Books to unload DVDs/comics/ books. I tried selling on eBay and miscalculated shipping costs - didn't make much.

Yeah, I think CL is kind of the go-to for people now. No shipping and all. Hopefully the comics will do better on Ebay, but we'll see. Bleah. I have too much crap!
