I had a bird do that to my window last spring. I'm just waiting for him to return and annoy me again. I'm sure he's been lying dormant somewhere.

My aunt has had a bird that has a daily routine of tapping on virtually every window in her house for YEARS. Nothing they do stops it, and it doesn't migrate for some reason so it goes on year-round. It's hilarious because I don't live there and I find it funny when I'm there, but damn I think I'd have to kill that bird if it was my home, lol.
