Good grief, it's finally fairly clear that spring is really here. Winter really held on with all the teeth and claws it had going for it, didn't it? In the US and Canada anyway. And it's still cool, with days of rain and bad weather, but at least we're having more and more days of sun and warmth ( Read more... )

Have you seen the previews for the next season of RB? I'm looking forward to it. And the previews make it seem like they're going to address the "WHAM BAM"ness of the finale.

I hear you on the ennui thing. This winter I have been the most depressed I've been since I was suffering and medicated for depression. I've just been feeling like my life is really stagnant, and nothing is changing at all. I've decided to move to a new place, and that is really helping me at the moment. It feels like I'm making a positive change, so that's good.

Good luck with the job! I hope you get it, and more importantly I hope you like it. It might be just the kind of change you need. And if you don't like it, at least working days it gives you that option to take a class, or a hobby course or join a team or something at night that you might really enjoy.

I have sort of seen previews for the next season of RB. I remember seeing one a long time ago. I think I'll have to go to YT and see if there are more. Also, it sounds like they are doubling the episode number, and that Canada will get them a month before everyone else. Which... oh, well.

YES. Same with me and feeling just... stuck and kind of like I'm going backwards a bit, even though I know life is full of ebb and flow. I made myself put in for this job because I just KNEW if I'd chickened out and played it safe, I'd beat myself up for it later. It's a change for the positive, and I know if I just give it a chance I'd be happier. I just have to remember that as anxious and fearful as I feel at the start, three months down the road I'll be much more comfortable and into the job. Sigh.

I’m useless to you for the TV shows you asked about. Been catching The Voice, but otherwise, have skipped regular TV to slowly work through the Black Friday DVD stash. (On last season’s Bones right now and before that watched Arrow’s 1st season.) Am a bit frustrated Fox cancelled “Almost Human.” :(

I think all of us feel that way even when we’re just contemplating a job change. You’ve gone the extra step and acted on the pondering. :) Hopefully it’ll be good news about the job. (And BTW, you *are* a leader bb.) (((J.))) :)

So yeah, Liv and the gang ran into Cassidy on a case involving madams in NYC because he was working undercover for one of them. He gets shot during the case and they start hooking up again. I guess it turns into a relationship because this season they move in together ( ... )

I feel you on the life is fucking hard and growing up sucks. Like, I totally feel you on everything you wrote. It's why I'm in college again. Finally. It's been better, but not the fantastic change I was hoping for. I hope the promotion comes through for you and you at least don't hate it. I really hope you enjoy it.

And I agree with you on the upscale housing editions! I don't even know why they bother building homes with porches and patios. No one ever uses them! And the glaring! I do get being wary of strangers, but seriously! It's crazy.
