Good grief, it's finally fairly clear that spring is really here. Winter really held on with all the teeth and claws it had going for it, didn't it? In the US and Canada anyway. And it's still cool, with days of rain and bad weather, but at least we're having more and more days of sun and warmth

I hear you on the ennui thing. This winter I have been the most depressed I've been since I was suffering and medicated for depression. I've just been feeling like my life is really stagnant, and nothing is changing at all. I've decided to move to a new place, and that is really helping me at the moment. It feels like I'm making a positive change, so that's good.
Good luck with the job! I hope you get it, and more importantly I hope you like it. It might be just the kind of change you need. And if you don't like it, at least working days it gives you that option to take a class, or a hobby course or join a team or something at night that you might really enjoy.

YES. Same with me and feeling just... stuck and kind of like I'm going backwards a bit, even though I know life is full of ebb and flow. I made myself put in for this job because I just KNEW if I'd chickened out and played it safe, I'd beat myself up for it later. It's a change for the positive, and I know if I just give it a chance I'd be happier. I just have to remember that as anxious and fearful as I feel at the start, three months down the road I'll be much more comfortable and into the job. Sigh.

I think all of us feel that way even when we’re just contemplating a job change. You’ve gone the extra step and acted on the pondering. :) Hopefully it’ll be good news about the job. (And BTW, you *are* a leader bb.) (((J.))) :)

And I agree with you on the upscale housing editions! I don't even know why they bother building homes with porches and patios. No one ever uses them! And the glaring! I do get being wary of strangers, but seriously! It's crazy.
