Little devil in disguise

Want to see how my Peak's Woods girl turned out when her face up was done? I finally have some pictures to share.

Nude resin under the cut.

Some of these pictures are taken in a bad light, sorry about that.

First some face up progress pictures, only a few though. I probably had a few more on my phone but was lazy to edit more. I take these mostly for my own use since you can see flaws and other things better through photos than just looking at the doll eye to eye so photos help me during face upping.

I really love blushing hands!
The nail hands will be her "beast mode" hands while the normal looking ones are her "I'm just an innocent little girl" hands.

This is the finished face up.
I'm fairly happy with the end result. I worked so hard with this one since I was constantly afraid I would mess the face up!

The eyebrows might be too thin and her lips were supposed to be darker... And the teeth are too pink! xD I think it was the gloss that turned them pink, I'll have to try and paint them white again at some point.
But I'm just a beginner and want to improve my skills. I think I've slightly become better over the years though?

She doesn't have good eyes yet but I've ordered her eyes and a wig. I'm working on her clothes. Sewing for my dolls is an important bonding experience for me since that's when my dolls tell me their stories. How they dress also tells about their personality. I love historical clothes and my favourite era is the beginning of the 19th century. I'm not skilled enough to sew historically correct clothing but I combine my favourite bits and create an outfit based on that.

A few better pictures with a wig:

I tried a white wig for her and really liked how it looked! So she will be getting a white wig instead of blue or green like I originally thought. This wig is a really old one and none of my dolls use it so maybe this girl can wear it sometimes. She looks so innocent in it.

Her name is Lucretia and she's been a vampire since early 14th century. She's old and powerful, extremely dangerous (she has an appetite for young girls' souls). Since she's so old she has different kind of abilities than my other vampire characters. Maybe old, evil and powerful vampire character is a bit of a cliché but I do have younger vampires too who are hopeless at being vampires so not all of them are alike.
Lucretia just needed to be evil and ancient, just look at that face! She's cute enough to lure anyone but looks so cold she is definitely deadly.

She's so so pretty! *_*

This wig is way too big on her but I like the shade of white better than the curly one:

I also like straight wigs better than curly ones since curly wigs are annoying.

I'm so in love with this girl, hehe! And the resin colour is really beautiful. Couldn't be happier with her really. Hopefully I'm able to sew her an outfit soon so I can start photographing her more and not just take quick face photos.

Looking at my beautiful dolls gives me peace of mind I can't find anywhere else. I just simply wouldn't survive without them.

I've already finished my Pipos Charlotte too and next would need to make her a wig. No photos for a while though since I'm always so tired and suffering from headaches.

faceup, lucretia
