David gets out of the car and takes a look around.
The base comes more or less as advertised: hot, not much to look at, middle of nowhere.
Without a word to whoever drove him here from the airport, he gets his overnight bag and toolbox from the back of the car. He might as well get some idea of just how big the job really is.

He's currently carting large boxes of ammunition from the main storage bay to the weapons cache, and stops by the door to turn on the overhead light. Click, click. Still not working.
"The hell're YOU doin' here?" Even though he either already knows or really doesn't want to know, either way.
He eyes David's overnight bag.

"Redfield asked me to fix some shit."
He steps up to the wall next to the door and takes the switch's cover off with his Leatherman, then shines a flashlight into the works. There's a distinct smell of something old and burnt wafting out.

He walks out of the weapons cache and into whatever room's next door, to see if anything else jumps out at him that needs fixing.
