Shooting S.T.A.R.S.?

-Today in the Nation's capital a press conferance was held in regards to the anonymous message sent to the German government. Even more shocking, however, is confirmation that Dr. William Birkin has been detained by the Italian government after turning himself in. Dr. Birkin is a former employee of the now-defunct Umbrella Corporation, and its leading researcher.

On hand to answer questions at the conference were White House correspondant Anthony Daloy, General Isaac Hopkins of the United States Army, and Captain Christopher Redfield of the reformed Special Tactics And Rescue Squad attached to SOCOM.

The conferance was abuzz with energy, and talks of possible terroristic attacks on American soil were the large debate.

Gen. Hopkins was adamant that U.S. troops were fully capable of responding to any attack, and aditional measures would be taken to gather intelligence.

When the subject of Dr. Birkin was brought up, Cpatain Redfield had this to say:

"Dr. Birkin is an extremely intelligent scientist, and would be a great asset to the U.S. were it not for his ties to Umbrella. He will be held in custody and questioned until such time as he can be put through due process in trial.

"S.T.A.R.S. and myself stand ready to engage and bring to justice anyone associated with Umbrella, as well as any other terrorists. I will not negotiate. I will hunt the remains of Umbrella to the ends of the Earth if I have to. As of now, we are on a Threat Condition Yellow. The FBI has named Albert Wesker as Public Enemy Number One. If you have any information leading to his capture, the Federal government will provide a reward. He is to be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Do not approach him, contact your nearest branch of law enforcement."

What does the future hold for Albert Wesker and the remains of Umbrella? As far as Capatin Redfield and Homeland security are concerned, justice will be served.
