Am offline mostly due to not one but TWO trojans. I may well have to reformat to get rid of these buggers. I am currently running every scan known to man, but they keep repopulating. *sighs ( Read more... )

You and Mirfain are a matched set. She's going through the exact same thing! Kills them and they come back. She also said something about reformating tonight (don't know what that means, but it looks like you two do). Hope you can kill the litle blighters.

It means wiping the entire c drive clean, reinstalling windows and reinstalling every program....sucks but it works.

I'd like to get my hands on the assholes who do this kind of crap.

I am probably going to have to reformat as well. I have IEToolbar and Aurora, what do you have?

I have Downloader.Small and Dropper. I did all the techy stuff including safe mode clean up and reg edits....used Spybot, Adaware, spywarecatcher, hijackthis and AVG Virus scan. It's still repopulating. I give up. Am removing the little data I had managed to get onto my C drive and my install files and just reformatting. I am not spending weeks on this crap. Would rather spend weeks resetting up my programs.

Oh, and I hope there's a hot spot in hell for these assholes who create these things.
