I've never lived through a cat 5, but I was in Hugo, 70 miles inland and it was horrific - cannot imagine what this is like. Egad, that must've been horrible during Hugo. We hear all the talk about landfall locations and such, so people watching the news don't know how much distance these storms really cover and how deadly it can be.
