Sept 11th 2001 - I was standing in the waiting room at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital watching in horror at the burning buildings. You were working in DC at that time? So was I. The bus I took to Metro went right past the Pentagon. The next day we went past the impact site. I could still smell the fires. Then the buses were rerouted for several months for the repairs.

Last October I visited New York City for the frist time since 9-11. The skyline looked so empty. I remember when the Twon Towers were being built. I never thought I'd outlast them
