i miss east london. sunday markets, tiny bars and blossom on the concrete in the spring, strange shops on roman road, blue tiles and old street names and indian food in bethnal green. i miss being close to my friends and drinking in the morgan on slow days and riding the number 8 all the way from bow to victoria. columbia road flower market, second

haha, suburban manchester. i'm not really very far away although it feels like it. there's a big abandoned woolies with all its windows smashed out and lots of lovely disused mine shafts and cotton mills and litter all over the streets, i feel a bit like i'm living in a newsreel about britain in the 1970s strikes.
i'm really envious that you've moved to france. i would love to be there but can't afford to get out of here. yet.
