today we had herbology with the gryffindors and we learned about these neat woman-eating plants that only snap at girls. and they were kind of scary but they were just little seedlings, so they didn't snap very much, but we had to be careful anyway. proffessor sprout paired me up with harry which was kind of weird. i haven't talked to him since the ball, really, and i felt really uncomfortable. we didn't talk about the ball though. i guess we're just pretending it never happened and going back to being people who don't really know each other. which is fine, because i was kind of, well.. i was pretty mad!!
i think that justin is kind of mad at me now, though, because he looked really mad in herbology. then hannah came over and started talking to harry really loudly. like, yelling in his face. so that was kind of weird. in fact she almost pushed me out of my stool, even though i was trying to re-pot my woman-eating plant. maybe everyone is mad at me and i don't know it.
i hope i didn't do anything. ernie was sick and absent from classes today, so i can't ask him, and hannah is in the transfiguration room getting help from proffessor mcgonagall. maybe she's avoiding me. :( i really hope not though. morag was talking to me earlier and things seemed ok then. so i guess if anyone was mad at me she'd tell me. and i don't think i've done anything. ok so i knocked over hannah's pumkin juice last night, and i stepped on justin's foot in the library yesterday, but other than that i REALLY dont think i've done anything.
anyway, i brought ernie some lentil soup back from dinner today because he was sick, but he was asleep, so i was in hufflepuff tower by myself while everyone else was at dinner, and i started my defence against the dark arts essay that's due next week. i think i'm doing ok on it. hannah is much better at dada than me but she wasnt around.
i wanted to go practise by myself this morning, so i went to the quidditch field at 6:30 but the slytherins were there practising. i had no idea they did that so early!! i thought for sure no one would be there then.
anyway i need to go finish my essay now, so yeah.
