So goddamn pretty and heartbreaking. Love that you're continuing this, but it breaks my heart into tiny little pieces to imagine this little doe-eyed kid and an older Susan and how all of her internal thought process--the bad process, the LucyEdmundPeter thought process--is off the page but still there.

This is my... second time? Second time tackling post-LB Susan Pevensie, and it's hard because I really don't like how Susan ends up per Last Battle. My other one was a song-drabble responses to "Learn to Be Lonely" which was good enough for a song-drabble response. Bah. Damn it, CS Lewis. What good was it to make Susan like such? What good was it?!
