right, so last friday (the 4th) my brother comes in at around 10-ish, storms into my room and goes: "you know, i just saw the new narnia movie!" and i go: "...whut." O_o seriously, i have no idea why this thing premiered in my country one whole week before it did in the US, but there you go. #_# unfortunately, i already had plans for last weekend

Yes, it's out in The Netherlands as well. Very weird, usually it's released in the same week or the week after US release.

haha, alright then, i won't spoil you. ;) you've definitely have to see it, though, when you're done with exams. it's great fun, that's all i'm going to say. =)

ugh, that sucks. i hate when there are rambunctious brats in the theater. i mean, i know i tend to talk a lot during movies, but at the very least i try to do it in a low tone and i don't go around kicking people or throwing stuff. seriously, kids these days need to brush up on their movie theater etiquette-- it's not cute anymore.

i also loved how they linked in stuff from the next book. no shame for throwing sequel hooks all over the place. ;) i do hope the next movie gets made... crossing my fingers, as FOX doesn't seem to be very charitable with my fandoms lately when it comes to sequels. but oh, well. at least we agree it was a great movie! ^^

Ok, I'll admit it I totally squeed over Caspian's comment about Susan. I think I actually started bouncing in my seat with glee....even had another bout of squeeing in the car afterwards too, and proceeded to reread some of my favorite Suspian stories ('I wish' for one..)just to alleviate my need for a fix.

Also did anyone notice when we first see Caspian's cabin, there's a part of the mural on the walls that seemed to look alot like Susan. Did anyone else see that, or is it just my over active imagination?

I saw the film a couple days ago. I really liked it, much more than I thought I would. I read 4/7 books including Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It wasn't my favorite, but I really enjoyed the film.

I squeed too! Admittedly, I checked the movie's Wikipedia page and it said that Ben refereed to Caspian still not completely over Susan, so that made me have a glimmer of hope. When he said that line of no one else can compare to Susan, I just about swooned, lol! The Star's daughter was tolerable. It tread the line of book and movie verse well. All is happy in my Susan/Caspian shipper mind and heart. :)

I second that! Hmph... why is it that the two of them seem to take really few pictures together?

But yeah, I loved the Susan/Suspian moments in VotDT! You guys have talked about some of it, mainly the "No-one could live up to your sister" thing. But I could swear I remember there being something else that Caspian said, around when the Pevensies and Eustace had just been lifted up to the ship. Didn't he ask if Ed and Lu had their siblings with them? (My shipper mind obviously translating it as "Where's Susan?" xD) Is my memory playing tricks?

Btw, do you think there'll be any Anna/Suspian on the extra materials of the DVD when it comes out? :3
