More like Semi-hippie kid from Costa Rica who's only been painting for 2 years and ADMITS he paints abstractly, because he can't do realistic stuff, tells us that he's not actually going to tell us HOW to paint, rather, he'll be there to help us express ( Read more... )

Sorry the painting classes had no class. Very glad you enjoyed Yosemite and had a great time. I have yet to visit Yosemite:)

Okay, painting puns aside I'm sorry to read your painting class was a let down Susan.

Having painted myself (*groan* and not frequently lately either) I know what it's like to sign up for a class and discover.. "Why am I hear? I know more than them!" Frankly I've had more fun setting up my French easel by the side of a road and painting for 5 hours.

But, at least you've gotten a wonderful vacation out of it.

If you two ever choose to go back during the summer, go to the park's main web site and look for the Glacier Point astronomy programs (Friday & Saturday nights).

The park's been, for over 20 years now, hosting clubs from all over. The clubs set up their telescopes in that amphitheater at Glacier Point and it's a blast!
