Today there will be more sewing. I have four pockets to install and a couple of adjustments to make. I should be able to finish today or at least get buy without having to unpick invisible stitches

Long ago, a guy took it upon himself, while I was changing clothes or using the bathroom or some such, to open my mail, a personal letter from my mother, and read it. When I got out to the main room of my apartment, he told me my mother said, this, wondered that and oh, by the way here's the latest on one of my siblings---- "I didn't hear the phone ring, and you shouldn't have answered it, anyway," I told him. Oh, no, he'd read my mail. Because it was open. Well, I wasn't the one who had opened it.
We broke up because he was sure I was keeping secrets from him and so he couldn't trust me. He was sure, he told me, based on my reaction to what he'd done, that I must be seeing someone else on the side. Well, dude, it's not like you own me, you understand?
And in addition to having violated my privacy, to say nothing of a federal law, did it occur to him, I have to wonder, if it had been appropriate for him to violate my family's privacy???
I used to religiously keep and file all email in folders. When I moved from Outlook to Gmail, I decided maybe I didn't need to move *everything*, mostly for space saving but also because I had moved on from some of my friends. The messages are stored on this machine and my backups but I've *never* gone back to reread any of it. I don't think it would cause any trouble but maybe it's time to dig it up and get rid of it.
