I hate gas

I stopped at the first gas station and inserted my card incorrectly. I corrected. It was rejected. I tried again. I got "see cashier". I replied with "see ya". And went across the street. This one had a different card insertion scheme and that one also failed. Resulting in another "see cashier

In San Francisco proper, I have seen gas for over $5/gallon. At the Costco where I usually get gas, it's currently $4.50/gallon. California has "special" winter gas, plus high state and county taxes on gasoline, which results in higher prices for us.

I have to admit that with tap-to-pay finally rolled out at all the gas stations I frequent, I'd forgotten all about swiping my card incorrectly and being admonished to "SEE CASHIER." Better living through card payment technology advances!
